To ensure broad compatibility and facilitate the transition for Ethereum-based applications, Scalaris supports the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) execution environment through a dedicated consensus client:

  • Scalaris Consensus Client for ETH Execution Layer: This component includes Scalaris as the consensus engine and a consensus adapter for communication with Ethereum execution nodes. The adapter listens to pending transactions from ETH execution nodes and commits blocks received from Scalaris, enabling Ethereum applications to benefit from Scalaris' high-performance consensus.
